Feature Documentary (89 mins)

Palestinian Hind Mashahra has spent more than twenty years in a marriage shaped by separation and longing. Her husband, Ramadan, is serving a life sentence in an Israeli prison, and their relationship survives through brief visits conducted behind glass barriers. Determined to become a mother, Hind embarks on a risky and deeply personal journey to smuggle her husband's sperm out of prison for IVF treatment. As she navigates checkpoints, bureaucratic obstacles, medical procedures, and the relentless pressure of time, her story intersects with those of other women facing similar realities. Built through an observational cinematic approach and real-time moments, FOR LIFE offers an intimate portrait of love, resilience, and the struggle to maintain dignity under occupation. Through Hind's pursuit of motherhood, the film reveals how an ordinary human desire can become a quiet act of resistance.
