Labid, a young bedouin, roams the desert with his sister Arbad. When the vast landscape inspires poetry in him, he shares his verses with her by the fire. But the world around them begins to shift when a wounded tribesman returns to camp one afternoon. Across this changing desert, a strange figure appears, whose riddles echo truths Labid cannot yet name.
